Notes on the Packaging Ordinance

Note obligations under BattVO for disposal of batteries

Batteries do not belong in household waste!

According to § 12 sentence 1 no. 1 - 3 BattV (. Regulation on the collection and disposal of used batteries and accumulators (BattVO) of 27 March 1998 (Federal Law Gazette I, p 658)) we have, as the seller indicates that the customer as user is legally obliged to return used batteries. Please enter the spent batteries to a municipal collection center or on site. We got batteries you can return free of charge with us or with sufficient postage to return by mail. Batteries containing pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash and the chemical symbol of the pollutant. The abbreviations mean: Cd = cadmium, Li = lithium, Li-Ion = Lithium-ion, Ni = nickel, Mh = metal, Pb = lead, Zi = zinc
